My first real-world design

I got some Freelance work while I was in Mexico in Rigoletti Design Studio. While I was there I designed some kitchenware for Sogbo, I am very happy because my designs are actually gonna make it to the Housewares International Show in Chicago! Plus the brand is actually going to manufacture the designs and place them in very fancy shmancy stores, like departmental stores and specialized kitchen stores. Anyways... I hope you actually like them :)

I'm back

I have been pretty busy, I had an Internship, I designed some cool stuff that will be posted later, I got some projects that sound amazing and might actually make me money :P (hopefully), I got my website running.... In general 2010 has being a good year so far in the professional aspect of my life. Looks like I will be able to enjoy life as I design :P.

I have being away from the entertainment path, and focusing in the Product Design, I think it is very interesting how life kinda pushes you to do certain things that you love but you cannot cut yourself in a million pieces and do EVERYTHING all the time.

Anyways, This blog will be reactivated and I will be posting here most of the stuff that I wont be posting on my website, since I only have there the bare minimum of info that I think its needed there. I might post dumb things, quick sketches, final pieces, I don't know!!   But for now it will be the good news of me having a new website!!!

So, for costume design I am using the Snow White story. It is not the regular story, I had to change it a little bit for Snow White to have 3 costume changes. Also to tie it with the design i have for the queen.

The main idea is that Snow White is not a princess, it is a normal peasant that the prince falls in love with but since shes not a princess she cant marry him. Plus shes the fairest of them and the queen wants to kill her. At the end all the story is the same......

The 3 changes of wardrobe are.... peasant... wedding dress and Snow White as a queen.
